Kids 1st tent camping weekend

Last weekend we traveled down to Lake Cumberland in Ky to meet my parents at their camping spot. We recently purchased a larger tent to begin our family camping adventures. We had refrained until now waiting till both the kids were potty trained and a little less high maintenance. It went great, but I'll just show you.

Started off right with a little music, bought the kids a harmonica at Cracker Barrel on the way down and they had a blast with it! Relaxin' at the campsite.
Stripers Jeremy caught the first night there. Had quite an adventurous trip with my dad's friend climbing a tree for a $10 lure, subsiquently dropping a mag-light into the lake and my dad casting half of his pole out into the lake. Needless to say, Jeremy was the only one that caught anything that night!

We took a visit to Wolf Creek National Fish Hatchery, they've built a new interpretive center since I was last there over 10 years ago. Used to go every summer to check out the fish.

Brayden wading in the ice cold tailwaters just below Wolf Creek Dam.

We all went out to take the kids fishing. Kids included my dad and husband.
Brayden looking a little suspicious of this fish, was not about to hold it for the picture.

Brenna enjoying the boat ride.

Good times.

Took the kids for a swim at the boat launch.

My Mom.

Summer is here!!
ps. Many thanks to Brook for letting my borrow her point & shoot camera till we order a new one!

Looks like fun!!! We were going to go camping this weekend too (bought a bigger tent recently), but instead we all got sick and are relaxing at home (also nice).
