Veggie Garden

Jeremy breaking sod on our veggie garden back in April.

Brayden watching the action.
Monkies see monkies do. B & B digging their own little garden.
After a very soggy spring we finally got our garden in on Monday!  Yay!  We added 3 loads of horse   manure to it to improve the fertility and reduce the clayiness.  See my pretty Redbud and Lilac, wish you could smell over the internet, the lilac smells heavenly.

All planted.  We planted 12 different varieties of tomatos and 8 different varieties of peppers!  I also planted some birdhouse gourds!!  Can you tell I'm excited to be gardening again?  It was a long, cold, snowy winter.  Hooray for spring and green things!

We used this wonderful and easy Vegetable Garden Planner from Mother Earth News.  Super fun!  Great record for next years planning as well.
