Brayden's Fish Quilt...Progress

About a month ago I began working on Brayden's quilt.  I have completed piecing the top and am now ready to begin quilting.  I just completed a three class free motion quilting class at the fabric shop.  Although I am far from skilled in it, I plan to work on various small projects like pot holders, place mats and table runners to build my skills.  Here are the pictures.

I really like how the borders and sashing look.  My tentative plan for the quilting is stitching in the ditch on the blocks.  Then I am thinking about a loopy fishing line quilting around the borders with a fish and or lure at the end of the line.  I show you more progress as it occurs.
